FNG & ST2 Joint Dedicated Server

FNG and ST2 have joined their considerable forces to bring the Ghost Recon community the greatest thing since the pill.

Server Info

The Dedicated server runs the Ghost Recon 1.4 patch with no mods but a number of excellent server side maps created by FNG’s own DrX. You can join the server via UBI and xFire usually under the name *FNG* & =ST2= All Welcome.

You can leave all your praise admiration and love in either the FNG’s Forums or ST2’s Forums. Although unlikely if you have criticism or something nasty to say please follow these very important steps: 1. Drink a litre of bleach. 2. Wait an hour 3. Then speak your mind on our forums.

Disclaimer: If you’re getting lag on our server I would bet it’s your kids downloading porn on your network rather than our servers fault. This is a dilemma I know. If you tell your kids to stop watching internet porn that means you’ll have to tell them about sex yourself and basically have to actually talk to your kids. I mean, yuck, who wants to talk to their kids and be all parenty? BARF!! In my opinion it’s easier, and better parenting, to just let them learn about sex from some gang bang movie. Your welcome.

Server Rules

The Do Nots

  1. Do Not Whine: This means all of you and also includes bitching, crying, accusing and not having a sense of humour. Also note we don’t take map suggestions or change the server settings so save everyone the trouble of having to read your terrible typing of docs day as it will fall on deaf eyes.
  2. Do Not Fire at Start of Map: There’s a saying: “Loose lips sink ships” which you have probably heard. Basically that means that folks who talk too much can endanger their comrades in arms. Well when a traitor starts firing off their grenade launcher or gun at the outset of a map it is equivalent to the above statement. Now the enemy can converge on you without wasting time trying to track your spawn down. Your team is now fucked! If someone is constantly firing their weapon at the start of a map they will get kicked from the server and their mother will get punched right in the fucking mouth.
  3. Do Not Direct Your Potty Mouth at FNG or ST2 Members: Also don’t bad mouth or bring bullshit or even legitimate grudges against other players into our server.
  4. Do Not Take the MM1: The MM1 is annoying and everyone hates it and hates anyone even contemplating equipping that travesty of a weapon.
  5. Do Not be a Sniper: SNIPERS ARE A HINDRANCE TO THEIR TEAM – ALWAYS. Even if you get a decent number of kills it’s more than likely that a rifleman had more kills and also pressed the opposing team harder. Ghost Recon simply wasn’t made in a way that makes snipers viable and consistently productive team members. We are all pretty regularly annoyed when an entire team has been wiped out except for the sniper with all his lives left and laying on his belly miles away from the action only getting 2-3 kills and never making an attempt to take smoke or get into a good aggressive raping position. People always taking sniper kits have been known to accidently drop from the server. Weird huh?
  6. Do Not Cheat or Glitch: We’re pretty kooky that way!
  7. Do Not Team Kill: Should be a no brainer but seems to cause a lot of trouble anyway. If you are on the end of a tk try and let it slide off your back. If the tking is intentional FNG and ST2 members will take appropriate action. If you retaliate we will also take action. (By action we mean burning your house down. Have fun living on the street tker.)
  8. Do Not Recruit or Advertise: If you advertise products websites or other servers or recruit for your clan we’ll ban you. Then we’ll unban you but just when you think everything is OK we’ll ban you again. Welcome to the rollercoaster we like to call, “Huh? Why’d I get banned?”

The Dos

  1. Do be Over 18 Years Old: We talk shit and we don’t need little Johnny’s mind being corrupted and his mommy whining to us about it. Plus Any one of us could be little Johnny’s father and we don’t want that awkward encounter.
  2. Do be Funny: Please. That includes having a sense of humour.
  3. Do Speak English: We want English spoken in the server so we are confident that when we make fun of your mother you get it and can respond in like.
  4. Do Take Support and Grenades: This server is the biznitch man. Support and Nades don’t faze that shit even a little.
  5. Do Spawn Rape: Spawning isn’t a right it is a privilege. Here’s a simple rule of thumb. If you are getting spawn raped it isn’t the fault of the raper but you and your teams fault for letting the enemy into your spawn – ALWAYS. There is never a case where spawn rape is unacceptable. I repeat, if you are getting spawn raped Y O U A R E T O B L A M E so do not act like a nooblet and whine about it. Take your licks, learn from your mistakes and return the favour next game.
